ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER NO. 16-8

MISDEMEANOR DIVISION SCHEDULE MODIFICATION

  WHEREAS, the provisions of Section 7, Subparagraph (c) of Article 6 of the Illinois Constitution authorizes the Chief Judge of the Circuit Court to provide the appropriate time and place of holding court, and ;

  WHEREAS, the court periodically reviews court scheduling and makes adjustments necessary to accommodate the needs of the citizens and improve the efficiency of the Court resources;

NOW THEREFORE IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that the Twelfth Judicial Circuit Misdemeanor Court Schedule shall be modified as follows:

Misdemeanor  Court Schedule  1:

All Village of Plainfield local misdemeanor cases will be heard as follows:

1)     Last Names beginning A through E; 1st Thursday of each month at 9:00a.m. in Courtroom 302;

2)     Last names beginning F through Q; 3rd Thursday of Each month at 9:00a.m. in Courtroom 303;

3)     Last names beginning R through Z; 4th Thursday of each month at 9:00a.m. in Courtroom 314;

Misdemeanor  Pre-Disposition Custodies:

All misdemeanor pre-disposition custody matters will be heard at 9:00a.m. in Courtroom 304.

The  Circuit  Clerk  is  hereby  ordered  to  notify  the  various  departments  of  these  modifications  to  the Misdemeanor Division.

This order becomes effective March 1, 2016.
